Teaching is much more than a typical career or a profession. Teaching, an onerous responsibility of moulding and shaping a child into a responsible citizen for a better future of a child and society, is a matter of great pride for each one of us. The main object of education is the establishment of a twofold harmony in every individual – harmony within his own self and harmony with other living beings in the world. So, the goal of all teaching fraternity has always been the personality enrichment of a child through curricular and co-curricular activities. Our National Education Policy 2020 aims to address the many growing developmental imperatives of our country. This Policy proposes the revision and revamping of all aspects of the education structure, including its regulation and governance, to create a new system that is aligned with the aspirational goals of 21st century education, including SDG4, while building upon India’s traditions and value systems. our emphasis is on the development of the creative potential of each child based on the principle that education must develop not only cognitive capacities such as critical thinking and problem solving but also social, ethical, and emotional capacities and dispositions. I am certain, my students will become productive, intelligent and honest citizen of society. The active participation and co-operation of parents would be extremely essential to achieve the desired results. We strive with in-dominate zeal to seek fresh vistas of excellence so as to enable our students to become self-restrained and come out with flying colours in the present age of competition.
